Meet Valarie
When Valarie was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2008, she found strength in her faith and her family. She started home peritoneal dialysis (PD) after training with her nurse and chose to do her treatments at night so she could keep up with her busy lifestyle. In the years since, she's juggled family and a career, beat breast cancer with 2 years of chemotherapy, and remained totally committed to her health. Now enjoying an active retirement, Valarie has never felt more confident.
